In order to experience something different and unusual, one have to dare to do something different and unusual, like participate in one of "Bangkok by Bikes" bicycletours.
Up to date I have joined 3 tours,(and planning a fourth), and I'm more than happy with the well organized good guided tours that Arne and Frank conduct.
Personally I appreciate the bicycling west of Chao Praya River, on the narrow concrete paths windling among "klongs" and houses, almost into peoples livingrooms. An insight into ordinary peoples commonplace. Quite some poverty but very friendly people and contrary the hectic pulse in central Bangkok, here prevails a wholesome calmnes that get right into your body too ! So, I do recommend anyone to sacrifice at least a half shopping day on behalf of the bicyle. Lars Brissman, Sweden
