Weekend trip

Kl. 10.00-17.30

This trips main attraction is the floating market in Taling Chan (nb not the floating market in Damnoen Saduak). This is one of the last living floating markets in central Bangkok. Mostly Thai people visit this floating market and therefore you will not be offered all the worthless souvenirs and other rubbish. A delicious Thai meal will be served on the wooden bridge close to the water. You will get plenty of time to stroll around the market as well. The market is only open Saturdays and Sundays when this tour takes place. Before we reach the floating market we will make a stop at the Royal Barges Museum and after that take a look at the old Thonburi railway station. We cycle along the canals mostly on narrow concrete paths under palmtrees and bananaplants. This tour is through very scenic landscape, impossible to find on your own. In the end we will catch a long-tail-boat and get a sight of Bangkok from the water.
