Weekend trip
Kl. 10.00-17.30
This trips main attraction is the floating market in Taling Chan (nb not the floating market in Damnoen Saduak). This is one of the last living floating markets in central Bangkok. Mostly Thai people visit this floating market and therefore you will not be offered all the worthless souvenirs and other rubbish. A delicious Thai meal will be served on the wooden bridge close to the water. You will get plenty of time to stroll around the market as well The market is only open Saturdays and Sundays when this tour takes place.
But we will start with a visit at the Royal Barges Museum and then pass through a neighborhood of khlong houses, build on poles on the water, the traditional way of living in Bangkok. It is very narrow concreate paths, and be careful of your balance. This tour is through very scenic landscape, impossible to find on your own. In the end we will catch a long-tail-boat and get a sight of Bangkok from the water. The boat-trip is about half an hour and gives you time to think about a day filled by many impressions. The distance of this trip will be decided by tempo of the customers from trip to trip.
